Guest Relations

The Front Desk / Guest Relations staff serves Senara Health & Spa Guests by coordinating and communicating the appointment schedule, directing guests to appointments, collecting monies, entering charges, and assisting the Director of Operations. Our Guest Relations staff are the “face” of Senara. We are seeking a Guest Relations professional who can wow our guests with exceptional customer service with the ability to multitask efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Front Desk / Guest Relations Job Duties:

  • Helps customers by scheduling appointments, providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions; reviewing treatment and payment plans.
  • Coordinates shelving and pricing of inventory as product is received in to the building; processes special order requests.
  • Promotes sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
  • Maintains a safe and clean office environment by completing daily maintenance tasks throughout the space.
  • Delivers exceptional service to all guests.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Senara’s wide range of service and product offerings.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Attend monthly and weekly training sessions as requested.
  • Assists the Director of Operations and other staff as needed in on-going projects and services.

Guest Relations Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Customer Service & Supervisor experience required
  • Proficiency with computers and software programs
  • Previous experience in a spa and/or medical facility a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Product Sales

Associate Doctor of Chiropractic

Schedule: Full or Part Time

General Summary and Purpose:

Senara Health and Spa is a multi-disciplinary health center offering conventional and complementary medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, weight loss, anti-aging treatments and a full service spa.

We are expanding and looking for an Associate Chiropractor to join our practice. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the initiative and drive to grow a thriving chiropractic practice. Prospective applicants should be able to treat and work with patients in a wide variety of services, including: chiropractic care, physical therapy, and nutrition.

Associate Chiropractor Job Duties:

  • Establish a patient base and meet practice goals for new patients and service production
  • Schedule and attend practice building screening events with local businesses and organizations
  • Review, evaluate and prescribe testing and treatment plan for new patients
  • Co-manage patients with other practice physicians
  • Review laboratory test results and prescribe recommendations
  • Administer chiropractic treatments and provide exceptional care to our guests
  • Meet weekly with practice physicians and health coach to assess, plan and implement patient care plans
  • Respond to patient calls, e-mails, and voicemails throughout the day
  • Author content for social media outlets, working in conjunction with the Marketing Director
  • Assist with other projects as directed

Associate Chiropractor Skills and Qualifications:

Training and Educational Requirements:

  • Illinois Chiropractic License- current
  • Maintain current certifications and continuing education requirements during employment
  • Commitment to ongoing Chiropractic knowledge/training
  • Experience in nutrition, acupuncture, or physical therapy is a plus

Other required skills and qualifications include:

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Licensed Massage Therapists provide quality massage and body therapy treatments to guests of Senara Health and Healing Center & Spa. Responsible for providing outstanding service in a 5-star setting to each guest. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of all product lines and treatment options both in the Spa and Health and Healing Center.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to given schedule and appointments.
  • Organize and hand in an accurate accounting of appointments at the end of each pay period.
  • Adhere to all Senara policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and rooms, as well as, restock of linens and products between and at the end of each working shift.
  • Must possess the ability to perform consecutive services in a pre-determined period of time.
  • Required to sell retail products or enhancements associated with treatments and achieve sales goals.
  • Must have adequate computer and typing skills to complete guest service notes after each treatment. This will include treatment notes pertinent to medical guests of the Health and Healing Center.
  • Professional and well-spoken.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate exemplary knowledge, skill and/or ability in Massage Therapy techniques and Customer Service.
  • Must possess strong educational background with the ability to implement appropriate techniques according to assessment of guests, indications or contradictions.
  • Satisfactorily respond to individual guest needs and follow Senara standards as directed
  • Maintain State Licensing & Education requirements at all times.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have graduated from an accredited massage school with sufficient hours based on massage modality.

Licensed Esthetician (or Costmetologist)

Licensed Estheticians and Cosmetologists provide quality facials, waxing, body treatments, and make-up application to guests of Senara Spa/Medical Spa. Responsible for providing outstanding service in a 5-star setting to each guest. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of all product lines and treatment options.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to given schedule and appointments.
  • Organize and hand in an accurate accounting of appointments at the end of each pay period.
  • Adhere to all Senara policies and procedures

  • Maintain State Licensing & Education requirements at all times.
  • Must have a minimum of one year professional esthetics or cosmetology experience in a Spa or medical setting.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have graduated from an accredited Esthetics or Cosmetology school with a minimum of 600 hours in esthetic treatments.
  • Must possess adequate computer and typing skills.
  • Previous product sales experience preferred.

Licensed Nail Technician/Cosmetologist

Spa Attendant


The Senara Spa Attendant is responsible for keeping the spa facility beautiful and fully stocked for our guests and team members. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance in this role, and a love of folding laundry. Qualified candidates should be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend to the cleaning and folding of all facility laundry, following guidelines for proper washing, drying, and folding to maintain Senara’s 5-star standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness spa lounges and locker rooms
  • Assist the front desk and other office personnel with tasks as needed.
  • Professional and well-spoken.
  • Prompt and reliable.

Requirements:

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Weekend availability is required and some week nights

Billing Coordinator

Prospective candidates must be able to communicate with patients and insurance companies. Problem solving skills, punctuality, and the desire to work as a team player in a fast paced environment are key attributes of the ideal candidate. Experience within an osteopathic or chiropractic clinic is helpful.

Billing and Insurance Coordinator Job Duties:

  • Verification of medical benefits
  • Process medical insurance billings
  • Follow-up of aging claims
  • Data entry and posting of charges/payments
  • Daily deposits
  • Printing and mailing/emailing statements
  • Personal contact with patients regarding outstanding balances, questions, etc
  • Communicate patient’s insurance coverage information to office staff and doctors

Billing and Insurance Coordinator Skills and Qualifications:

Must have good knowledge and understanding of the following:

  • EOBs (Explanation of Benefit statements)
  • CPT, ICD9, and ICD10 codes
  • Tracking claim statuses
  • Insurance verification, reimbursement, and denials

Other required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficient in general operations of computers and computers programs
  • Ability to accurately enter data for charge and payment posting
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience with medical software billing systems (Medisoft is a plus)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with medical billing and coding Strong attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills
